Question about Dishwashers
My top of the line Miele dishwasher has never performed well. Before getting rid of it I paid $119 for a service tech to check it out. I explained that when it was new, someone who had never worked a dishwasher put the all-in- one dish-soap tablet in a few times with the wrapper still on before I caught it.He said there was no way this was the problem and said my jet holes in the rotating arms were totally clean. He suggested a $500 fix in addition to this call.... new motor$400 plus $100 labor: I went looking for new machines yesterday. However, this morning I inspected the blade that comes out easily and noticed that there was indeed a small piece of plastic behind one of the holes. I was only able to pull a small amount of this out with tweezers and can see more inside. Is there a solvent that would dissolve the plastic wrapper without damaging the blade itself
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You can replace the Bellows as it is called but to fix it before you replace it clean it with Bleach to kill the mold and then dry it ALSO after any load you do leave the door open a bit this allows the mach to air dry out and prevents the build up of mold ..Good Luck plz rate this post for me

I had the same problem a few days ago. I followed the instructions to clean the filter and check to see that the impeller was free to rotate in both directions. The problem persisted. After reading this thread, and a similar one on another site, I tried what mikeboerma suggested in "solution #3", and bingo, problem solved. The magic combination is to push and hold the on/off button and the start/stop button.

The I is the pre-wash and the III is the main wash where you put the soap powder. the # star looking symbol is the fabric conditioner.
If you don't have a manual you can download this from the miele website.

SOURCE: Miele CVA 4075 brew unit locked
Turn your machine off. Close the door. Depress <clear>, holding it down, press <on/off> then let go of both. Then press <clear> 3 times. On 3rd time, hold it until Service menu appears. Select <brew unit> then press left arrow to turn from <off> to <on>. Then press right arrow by <select> This will turn your brew unit drive to the correct position and you should be able to get your brew unit in/out and your waste container back in. Make sure to turn your machine off/on again to get out of Service Menu. I have a picture of how the wire needs to be inserted to get that back on. It's definitely not intuitive, but send another note with your email address and I can send the pics.

if you move the grinder level across to the left in one action it can jam up the grinder and even damage the grinder. if adjusted is required you should move it one mark, make a coffee and then move it another mark and make a coffee.
if you can't hear the grinder operating when you make a coffee then it sounds like it could be damaged.
