Im deleting music but...

Okay, even though i delete the demo/trial music included on the player, when i turn it on and go to my playlist there is still the music there.o_O When i try to play it, it says "Bad Track". The weird thing is that it is still there although i deleted it. This is very irritating and i could really use your help. Thank you, misterjojo

Re: Im deleting music but...

Try formatting the Player, Go to Mycomputer, go to the drive that is your player. Right click on the drive, click on format. This will Delete all music on the player. Try this. This helped me.

I plugged my mp3 player into my laptop to put music on but i deleted thye music file button so when i download music now it has to go into the playlist or just on the mp3 and it wont open

From the playlist you need to transfer to the Mp3
you will be able to point on songs and it will appear the various options! Hope it is sufficient for you and all music you deleted should be in the playlist unless you deleted it too,in this case you need to dowload it again!

I want to erase music of my ipod nano

Go to itunes and click on a song that you want to delete and press the delete button on your keyboard and it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete this song from all playlists and off the ipod and click yes and it will delete. Unfortunately, it will not let you delete it from the ipod menu without connecting it to a computer.

Cannot load playlists

Try sync your player with winamp. It synced the whole winamp media library (including playlists). Hope this can help.

Playlist creation

well u don't have to use a program for putting music on to ur mp3 player it works like a flash drive so if u go to my computer and go into the device u can put music on like that and then put wat music u want in a playlist into it's own folder and right click it then click create playlist and just to make sure u have the songs in the right order double click the playlist icon and re-arrange as u want. BUT DON"T DELETE THE FOLDER! i have done that a couple of times, when u delete the folder it, the playlist is gone. anyways hope that helps u but if it doesn't email me at

Music has disappeared.

One of the pesky features of windows Media Player is that if you delete the song/playlist from the computer's harddrive, and then resync your device to that same computer, then oftentimes the song/playlist disappears. Reacquire the song/playlist, and then try resyncing to the goGear again.

Try this and let me know if it works: Plug the player into the computer (by the USB cable obviously), open your Rio Music Manager, go to "Tools", "Synchronization options". Then create a "synchronization profile" as instructed. As you progress through the instructions, your second preferrence to edit is called "content deletion". This is where you can tell your player to NEVER delete your music. (Choose "never" from the dropdown menu). Then follow the rest of the steps, answering the other questions as you prefer. Hopefully this will prevent your player from losing songs you've already downloaded.
