Question about PC Desktops

Mikomi/USB optical mouse has started scrolling problem like page refreshing each movement of scroll wheel and if a large movement is made,pages wont stop "refreshing." XP home software,service pack 3. Reloaded supplied set up disc,changed USB port, no change. Is this a driver fault? Only occurs on Browser pages,tried different browsers, same effect

    I have the same problem in any browser IE7 and Safari. If I scroll up then down, the page refreshes in Safari and goes to the prior link in IE7



    Any help is appreciated.

Solution found by altering the screen resolution, this brought the mouse under normal scrolling control

How to fix how much the wheel scrolls


If you are a windows user then follow the below steps:

Click on Start Menu
then select Control Panel
in the control panel select the Mouse option
and when you double click on Mouse a new window will pop up
on that window click on WHEELS

and there you can set the desired scrolling with mouse wheel.

Why does my screen skip when scrolling


This is usually caused by a setting within the mouse properties. You can change how many lines or pages are skipped when you scroll the wheel. You can change these settings by going to the control panel then click on the mouse icon.

Text too wide for screen


If you want to increase the font size of the text on the page and you're using a scroll wheel mouse, here's a handy little trick- hold down the Control button while rolling the scroll wheel up or down. This will increase/decrease the size of the text on the screen but won't affect the graphics.

Press down on silver part at rear off scroll wheel, rear section will move away to show batteries.
