Question about Honeywell Heating & Cooling

My honeywell thermostat says hold -AC on it and i can't figure out hgow to get the heat to come on now.

Your tstat is not getting low voltage power from the transformer. check at the furnace or airhandler for high voltage and check the low voltage fuse

The replacement batteries could be defective or installed incorrectly. Also, if the thermostat has to be removed from its mounting base for installation of replacement batteries, it may have been reinstalled incorrectly.

Hi, Either push the program or resume program button... or on some you need to push the hold button again to take the hold off... Check the manual if all of this does not work... but the t-stat may be fried...

What are you setting the thermostat to when you turn on the AC , if you turn on the AC and the house is warm you will need to turn the AC down to a lower setting before the the AC will start up.

-AC means there is no power coming from the furnace. not a tstat problem

you have to configure the thermostat to run the fan when there is a call for heat. look at the installation instructions and they shoud ask you if it is gas or electric heat if its electric then you are gong to have to configure it to makr e the fan come on with the heat. Good luck

You need to go into the installer setting to change it from heatpump to single stage gas heat.Go to if youve lost them.

make sure not turned on @ tstat to man ,also were you in the heat or cool mode when this occured .
