Hi, I have all the updates to Windows and the resident DVD driver will not burn DVDs. I can use stand alone SW to burn DVD's but I need an XP driver to use Ghost or other SW relying on Windows to provide a driver that works. My search of the microsoft web site doesn't even mention there's a issue here. Any recommendations for this common problem?
It could be the DVD and maybe there is no drive on Windows for this DVD. You might have to use third party software.
If they did not send the drive in to Microsoft for the DVD then it is not there.

I'm having trouble getting my Verizon MyFi card to configure on my Dell PC w/ XP or my Dell laptop with Vista. The files load--but it doesn't find it when you look for a connection. I've spent 1-1/2 hours with Verizon's tech support and the ppl at Verizon took my laptop to work with it today for several hours but couldn't find a solution. It must be a setting in my computer. They lowered the firewall on the compuer to load the drivers but that didn't work. They checked the administrator settings. They checked to see that the MyFi was being "seen" by the computer and even were able to install it on another computer so the card is good.
