After downloading this program, I go to Start...ControlPanel...Add/Remove Programs and it shows that I have installed Microsoft office Enterprise 2007. It gives me the option to change or remove. I looked here to verify that I do have the program downloaded. When I go to Start...All Programs... I should find Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and should be able to open that to allow choice of

Word, Excel,PowePoint....etc. There is NOTHING. No way to open this program I have just downloaded. I spoke with the Head IRM person at my job (VA HOSP) and he recommended I remove the program and all Updates and reload. Did that (Didn't download the updates) and still I can't find the program. I not too sharp with this computer in technical stuff, but I can do the basic functions.

Well, were getting somewhere. Rt clicked desktop..went to new and Wella....clicked on Microsoft Office Excel and it gave me an icon which when double clicked opened up the program. Same for powerpoint, Word, and Microsoft Office Access 2007. Howeve, when I opened up the last, there was a security Warning....VBA MACRO... wanted to know if I wanted to allow or not. Still cannot find programs by going to start...Programs....

When I uninstalled the programs, there was no problem and no windows or warnings. Same goes for when I installed the program both times. No problems.

My Operating System is Windows XP Home Edition and my Make/model is the Compaq Presario S400J with AMD Atholn XP Processor.

At this point, I can now get into the programs I want but don't know why things didn't go right. Couple of coworkers are finding some different bugs in this program.

  • rednelloh2 Nov 22, 2008

Yes, there was a repair button and I used it the first time before I uninstalled the program. It did not seem to make a difference. Computer is automatically updated on a regular basis. Has service pack three and multiple security updates as late as 11/15/08. Is it alright to allow VBA MACRO??

I really appreciate your help. I've been struggling with this problem for over two weeks, and finally decided to google some help....then....my knight in shining armor...You. Cannot tell you how grateful I am for your time and knowledge. Will definitely keep your contact info. I think there are going to be quite a few bugs with this 2007 edition. I only got it because I need it for work, and I didn't even have the 2003 edition. Now I can maybe use the training courses my job gave me to conquer the beast.

    Again, Thanks!

I need a MS Office 2007 product key...

If you purchased a legal copy, you should have the product key. It is not legal to use Office without purchasing the software. However, good luck getting someone online to provide a product key. Depending on where you work, you may be able to buy a cheap (and I mean CHEAP) license to use office. Where I work they have a home user program and I purchased Office for 10 dollars. Check with your employer.

I just downloaded publisher and the program did not have a product key.

Here are the leaked ones for Office enterprise 2007. You might want to de-select the Office automatic security updates though or it will keep popping up a non-genuine notice each time you use it. Best option is to try it, see if you like it and then buy a genuine key from MS.

How i fined the origenal key product microsoft office professional 2007

  1. Manually locating the Microsoft Office 2007 product key from the registry is nearly impossible due to the fact that it's encrypted. Luckily, a number of free programs exist to help find product keys.
  2. Choose a free product key finder program that supports Microsoft Office 2007.
Note: Any product key finder that locates Microsoft Office 2007 product keys will locate the product keys for any edition you may have including Microsoft Office 2007 Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise, Professional Plus, Small Business, Standard, Home and Student, and Basic.
  3. Download and run the key finder program. Follow any instructions provided by the software.
  4. The numbers and letters displayed by the program represent the Microsoft Office 2007 product key. The product key should be formatted like xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx - five sets of five letters and numbers.
  5. Write this key code down exactly as the key finder program displays it to you for use when reinstalling Microsoft Office 2007.
Note: If even one character is written down incorrectly, the installation of Microsoft Office 2007 that you attempt with this product key will fail. Be sure to transcribe the key exactly.
Tips:
  1. If you need to install Microsoft Office 2007 but you've tried everything and still can't find your Office 2007 product key, you may have to purchase the software suite all over again.

If I have Microsoft Word 2007 home edition, do I have access to Microsoft Publisher?

No.

Office 2007 Home Edition is a suite of Office products that does not include Publisher. Publisher would be included in the Small Business, Professional or Ultimate suites, or can be purchased separately.
