Question about Fujitsu fi-5110C ScanMaker Scanner
Running Windows XP Professional on AMD Dual Core Opteron processor; can't get the scanner to be recognized at all. Scanner utility software has been installed. It's as if the USB ports I'm trying are "dead" (though anything else installed in them works fine). Help!
First chek if the USB ports are working by inserting a known working device, like a pendrive. If it is working then change the USB cable. Buy a good quality cable designed for USB 2.0. This is shielded cable and this should solve your problem. Pls ensure that scanner is powered.
