Replacement unit for Audiovox VOH681A overhead monitor

The Audiovox VOH681A unit has been discontinued, but I already have an 1187014PL overhead console mounted in my Suburban. Is there a replacement unit out there that will physically fit in the same overhead console?

Audiovox PVS69701 Dual Screen DVD player monitor has blue screen

I had the same problem, and it seems to be a short in the video cable between the two monitors. I can bend my cable until i see the second screen and then tuck it under the headrest. I am currently looking for a replacement cable. I see it at 1800customersupport.com, but will also check the local radioshack since I need it quickly.

My adv12 doesn't have a picture when i'm playing a dvd.

This unit is having a problem with component failure, That is causing it to go into the protection mode. This could be a simple problem of bad capacitors in the power supply or a more serious failure of the semiconductor components. The unit should be taken or sent to a service center for repair. The Audiovox customer support website is www.audiovoxusa.com. Go to the customer support and fill out the form for service. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Rca dvd player is not reading most disks

To ALL users of the RCA/Thomson DCR8335 VCR/DVD combo player/recorder.

NOTE: This unit is problematic and most likely, that is why is has been discontinued. I've have all the problems listed at this site and www.consumeraffiars.com. I would advise to stay away from RCA/Thomson and Audiovox (as I read online that Audiovox bought out RCA Audio/dvd products). They won't even honor the written warranty to repair the unit at a local RCA authorized facility. They are stating that repair parts are no longer available, and the only recourse they are offering is to exchange the unit with another problematic DCR8335 which is not accecptable in my opinion. They also want you to pay for the return shipping which is not cheap. If you push them to talk to a manager and refuse to pay the return S&H, they offer to give you a prepaid shipping label to pay for the return shipping. I refused to take the same unit as a replacement as I read online testimonials of others who did and encountered the same issues. We need to complain and have them offer a monetary refund so that we can purchase a comparable replacement unit of our choice after researching the product so we don't end up in a similar scenario.

Wishing you all the best with your resolutions pursuits...

Have a great day!!! :)

Dvd -no picture

Sometimes the displays can't be sent to another tv or monitor. Make sure that isn't turned on. Sometimes there can be a short in the wiring if your unit folds up to play like a notebook computer. You can try moving the screen back and forth and see if the picture changes. If neither of these solutions work, contact audiovox and see if it is cover under warranty.
