Question about Audiovox Televison & Video
The Audiovox VOH681A unit has been discontinued, but I already have an 1187014PL overhead console mounted in my Suburban. Is there a replacement unit out there that will physically fit in the same overhead console?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If it's a Rosen dvd player the dvd will need to be put in the unit itself & not the unit in the dashboard! The dvd player mounted in the head ligning is a seperate unit from the stereo system fitted in your dashboard!
Sounds to me like you are putting a dvd into the dashboard stereo system which will play any audio through the car speakers...
Put a dvd into the Rosen unit itself & i am sure you will get a picture on the drop down screen! Remember that as far as i know all Rosen dvd players transmit the sound from the dvd to infra red headphones that should be included! Remember to check the batteries if you still can't hear any sound as they run down quick if the headphones are left on!
Hope this helps....

I believe that your vehicle has two large fuse/relay assemblies. One is under the hood and the other"may" be under the drivers side passenger seat. The owners manual will list all, and I mean many" fuses and relays. Check them all with a test light or if you think a relay is at fault just switch to alike relays and see if that fixes your problem.

You Don't! Take a thin bladed screwdriver along the clear lens and just pop it out (the lens), and voilà! There's the bulb that needs to be replaced. Make sure your screwdriver is not magnetized for your compass will never read correctly when near a magnetic source.

You can possibly use the old base but it will depend on the video screen. the new unit will absolutely need to be connected to the radio. Some web sites to ponder on www.millionbuy.com and www.onlinecarstereo.com and www.etronics.com these sites have good prices. Hope this helps leave feedback if so. thanks
