Headunit power problems

Hello dobbyville11,
It might be a few things but here is what i would check 1st, pull out the head unit make sure all the wires are pushed in all the way. The second thing i would suggest is checking the connection to the battery and ensure that the ternimals are clean and a good connection is available.
If there is something else it might be that you hold down a button while it starts, I know of some headunits that need this.
Please post what you do and how you did it. I look forward to your post.

JVC KD-G340 Power Problem

I had this same probably have the wires wrong. Double check your connections for the red and yellow wires from the headunit. Make sure that your red wire is going to a 12 volt source that only switches on with the ignition.

You pulled a headunit out off the garbage, and complain that it doesn't work? smart man.

JVC is a quality brand, stemed from HMV. I would not use any other brand for audio playback after using experiencing JVC gear.
