WeatherKing Acclaim II

We changed from propane to natural gas, changed the jets and the system short cycles and doesn't blow hot air

My Weatherking Acclaim II seems to hit or miss, it cycles short sometimes blows cool air and often will allow the temp get to 60 degrees. The setting is constant at 69 and no one is screwing with the thermostat, so we don't know what the problem is. We can hear it come on then just go off after a few mins. When we decide we have had enough we come on down turn it off and then back on and then it decides to work and heat up the house. Anyone know what is wrong with this furnace? Any ideas?

Not only the jets but you need to change the spring in the gas valve and cut the pressure WAY back to prolly 3.5"wc

Can i convert a garland mod g286 stove from natural gas by installing apropane regulator

no
the modification from natural to propane or from propane to natural gas requires a jet change for all burners and an air flow shroud position change to get the correct blue flame ( correct air /fuel ratio)
it is a job for a gas fitter who will have the correct jets for each burner and will know how to adjust the shrouds

Maytag range Natural gas jets to Propane jets

it is a simple replacement but the problem is properly adjusting the air shrouds to get the right air/ gas mixture to burn correctly
lpg jets are available from a gas supply shop and because of the dangerous nature of gas , I would suggest that you have an accredited gas fitter do the conversion

How do I adjust polite lite on a natural gas stove just tryna convert to natural gas was propane are what do i do?? Just changed that piece on regulator..N that's about it??

no-
the conversion requires the changing of jet sizes for all the units and an adjustment of the air shrouds near the jets
because gas is more dangerous than power , it should only be done by an accredited gas appliance fitter

I have a Whirlpool gas dryer. I have gone from a natural gas hook-up to propane. Is there anything I need to do different for that natural gas installation?

You will need to change the gas discharge jets on the burner so that the burner gets the proper mixture of gas and air. Propane accessory stores should be able to furnish a conversion kit.

Jenn Air 740-0141 LP to NG Conversion

If the grill can be converted, it's usually a matter of providing a source for the natural gas and then changing the gas jets for the burner(s) and possibly a regulator, depending on your model. Some grills may require changing the gas burner valves themselves. Kits are usually available from a dealer unless the unit is old.

The natural gas jet will be slightly larger than the propane jet because natural gas doesn't have as high a heating value as propane.

If you do this, check your new conversion for any leaks using a soap solution in a spray bottle.

Just be aware that the grill may not get as hot with natural gas and cooking could take a little longer, but should still work just fine.

Your natural gas line should typically be about 1/2" unless it's huge or is over 50-60 feet away from the grill location. If so, use a 3/4" line. Piping material and methods are usually governed by your local building codes.

  1. The sensor that tells the furnace whether the gas is lit has got build-up on it and is giving the furnace bad information.
  2. The flame sensor is often a single wire or rod that sticks up in the center of the flame.
  3. You can shut off the furnace and the gas and clean the sensor with some sandpaper.
If that still doesn't work, the sensor may need to be replaced.

I want to be prepared to change my Carrier Furnace from Natural Gas to Propane if I need to.. I was told that their should be a little sack with a replacement jet hanging there somewhere. There is not.. ...

not only do you need the nozzles....you will need the spring changed in the gas valve and a manometer to set the proper gas pressure output from the valve. If you change the jets only you could do alot of damage to your furnace.
