Uhm, if you bought a keyboard it doesn't need a dvd. Keyboards need only to be plugged in.

Keyboard stopped working, tried it in notepad, tried removing battery,

Check in the Device Manager for the Keyboard presence. If the keyboard does not appear it means that the keyboard doesn't commuicate with the mainboard anymore. If the keyboard appears installed and ok in the device manager, open on-screen keyboard from accesibilty and press every button on the keyboard, you should see on the computer display if any of the buttons work. If some buttons work and others don't it means that your keyboard is broken and only service can help you.

Acer laptop keyboard and mouse does not work anymore

you can Buy a can of compressed air and spray it on the keyboard if your keys are sticking together. This is the easiest thing you can do to fix the keys on your keyboard. It doesn’t work for all problems, but it’s a good place to start. Make sure you get the air down inside the keys to clean out any debris, hair or food that may have gotten caught in there. Or try to replace a new laptop keyboard.

Also try going into the Control Panel and clicking on your keyboard/mouse. There are settings there alsol
