I am getting a FEE error on a Fuji FinePix S1 Pro Digital, the 300mm lens seems to be connected correctly. please help thank you.

I don't know if you have a manual fir this camera so I'm giving you a "Google" search link for a manual in PDF format. It the fourth one down.

Okay, I've had several Fuji Pro cameras including the S5 Pro and these cameras had dual memory card slots it's listed in section 6 page 24 of this PDF manual

Okay what can happen and happened to me several times (didn't learn the first time) was that I had the camera set on the Compact Flash card and filled it up but the camera needs to be manual set for the next card it's not automatic. So I'm going to assume that the media card you are trying to write the new picture files to is full.

You can download the pictures and then format the car (in the camera) then continue or switch to the other card in the card slot. This camera used a Smart Media and a Compact Flash Card.

I accidentley deleted all my pics from my memory card somehow can i restore them?

You can try to recover them with a recovery software. There are a few available on Hiren's Boot CD which are free

Also, you can opt to get a paid one, like Digital Pictures Recovery Software

Olympus E10 pins bent on compact flash slot

That is correct. The camera should default and detect that a smartmedia card is now inserted to the camera and write the images to that card. As I stated earlier, the cards are independent of each other.

The compact flash slot in my Olympus E10 has two bent pins

You can also use the smart media card slot. The two cards function independently of each other.

Based on what you report the camera would need to be serviced. Regretfully all parts, accessories and repair service have been discontinued due to the age of the camera.
You may refer to the yellow pages for local camera repair centers who maybe able to offer parts and service on the camera.
As a loyal Olympus customer, our Customer Service Department is also available to discuss other options available to you.
They can be reached Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM until 7:00PM East Coast time, at: 1(800)622-6372 option 2 and then option 3.

Problem with flash and a blinking message

I have also a DSC-W30 and I tried to basically reset to the default settings, going to Menu button, (Right Arrow), Setup, Down Arrow (2 times),Select with round button,Scroll down to Initialize and select OK.

You must inizializate your camera, but dont leave time adjusting the date. When your camera restart select any date quickly, then change the camera to the ISO option, to desactivate the flash temporarily, then change to AUTO option, and desactivate the flash. For the moment is the best option. Te problem may be ocasionated because your camera was in wet area and ocasionate a shortcut, but you need to verify if the problem is in the flash card, in any terminal, or in the motherboard.

Card Setup..

Hi, Chances are your memory card has been corrupted and is no longer readable by your camera hence the camera asking you to "reformat". You have to perform the reformat to hopefully make the memory card usable again. To try and recover the pictures inside the memory card, you have to remove it, insert into a suitable memory card reader attached to a PC and make use of a recovery software. The software maybe available from the memory card manufacturer or a third party such as Smart Recovery (, Flash Memory card recovery utility ( Hope this be of help to you. Post back how things are or should you need additional info. Good luck and Kind regards.

File numbers problem in S4

I think you may have a defective camera - my S4 does not do this. Maybe you should reset the camera software by taking out the battery for a couple days and then try it again.

Smartmedia Panorama mode

I don't know what you are doing, but my Nikon 4500 has a panoramic feature. It has nothing to do with the memory card. When you put it in panorama mode, on the second and subsequent shots, it shows about 1/3 of the previous shot in the viewfinder. You line that up with your present shot, and take the picture. The Nikon software, on a computer, can probably stitch the photos back together. You can do the same thing in an image editing program.
