Question about Computers & Internet
We have a Broadband Connection through a Siemens C2110 DSL Modem. We have around 20 computers in LAN. The DSL Modem is configured to be ON all the time and all the computers can be connected to Internet by specifying default gateway.
But I want to give access only to a few specified computers using MAC and TCP/IP Setting. Kindly give me the procedure to do it or specify any other possible method
Give each person a specific code and if that code is not correct , a notice will come up saying --you are not authorized to use the net refer to administrator
It is a simple procedure for an it specialist programmer

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

First of all connect with the cable computer and your ethernetcard and phoneline to your modem c2110 and then turn on the power of your modem, then type the address 192.168.1.1 at the explorer bar.Their you will find a pop up requesting you to enter username and password, enter the admin as username and admin as the password. Then proceed and just click on configuration given on the left side of the page, after clicking three subheadings you will find first local network the other internet and the third one DSl home, then just click on the internet their you will find several things to edit but you only click on the edit button infront of where "pppoe_0_35" is written, after that just do next and next untill you will find at one place Broadbandusername and Broadbandpassword, their u enter the username and password provided by the BSNL, after that click on the APPLY button, and wait for few seconds. and then close the window, and now enjoy surfing internet.

This happens with almost all the modems and routers. You can try resetting the modem ( you can find the reset button at the back side or underneath the modem ). After the reset, the modem should get auto configured.

I bought a new Motorola DSL modem from AT&T since my old slipstream DSL modem broke. I got my new modem today, but when I connected it only 4 out of the 6 lights were on. The light for "internet" just kept on blinking. How do I resolve this?
