Lexmark x7170 will not copy

When I try to copy a page there is lots of noise but no copy. error code 2200 comes up. Also the fax light is partially lit when the copy light is fully lit.

    I have a Lexmark 7170 and am getting Error Message 2200; Consult User's Guide. However, there is no info in the guide reference this Error Message. My printer is on but will not print. Any assistance is appreciated.

    Hai I have the same problem, i have unplugged but the problem has not gone i still have the same error 2200 message

Sounds like you are having the same problem that I am having. I since pulled the plug from the back of the printer and 30 seconds later plugged it back in. Now, even the power will not come on to the printer. Any ideas would be appreciated. What is error 2200 anyway?

Error code 2200
You need to clean NVRAM on Lexmark X7170 printer. Please find below the steps to clear the NVRAM on the Lexmark X7170:

1. Press the 'Quality' button and the '9' button at the same time.
2. Press '1,2,3' in succession per the LCD.
Note: This will delete all user settings including the speed dial list.

Next try to make a coy on the printer itself and let us know the result.
