First off what is the make and model of the printer. What operating system are you running? Once I have more information I can assist you appropriately.
Thank you,
Lee

Hi,
Try the printer on another computer if possible and see if it works there, do you have the drivers and software installed? can you tell us the brand and model of the printer.
does the computer detect the printer? do you get a ding dong sound when you connect and power it on?

Before connecting the printer you need to install printer driver software, let us know make and model of your printer.

I have a scanner Canon MP270. I have used it successfully before. Now I get a message on screen: Cannot communicate with screen. Cable my be disconnected or scanner may be turned off'. I have chec

First, please check all USB cable connections, unplug and re-plug the cable both at computer side-port and printer side-port.. Then, check if USB cable is good. If you are sure that's all alright so the logic board of the printer may be faulty. Overall this is about connection problem. Good luck.

My hp psc 2410 photosmart printer will not print - only copy

Check to make sure your PSC 2410 is in fact the default printer. If it is, make sure your cable is firmly plugged in to your printer and CPU. Clear the print queue. Turn off and restart printer. I have found that your problem is basically a communication problem between the computer and printer. Also check www.hp.com. Good luck.

Error 1200. i have tried to resolve using the steps in the manual. No luck The model is Lexmark 4720 Maltifunction printer

I managed to fix the problem. Error 1200

Checked for paper jam, no luck
Unplugged the USB connection and from the wall socket, no luck
Took the cartridge out and reloaded them again, no luck
Switched the whole computer off and then logged in back again, no luck.
Uninstalled the software.
Installed the software, driver, message "computer cannot communicate to the printer", but the scanner, fax and copy started working.
Deleted all pending jobs
Shut down the computer then logged in again.
Bingo, the printer started working.

Hope this helps

regards,

Tara

HP PSC 2410 very slow printing issue

It is a cartridge problem. Solution for my hp 3645 (I have the same story as bb18, but different printer) was to remove color cartridge!
The printer is fast now, of course it does not print in color :) (I`m waiting for a new color cartridge) Good luck,
Marcin
