Have you installed samsung VP-D351 driver in your computer? If the driver already been installed, it may crashed and need new installation. If you had not istalled it before, you have to install it before pairing them. The CD driver usually bundled in new VP-D351 package together with owner manual and service centre address.
I am having the same problem and the answer I believe is that windows 7 does not support the original Picture Package software which came with the camera. Sony offers an alternative software upgrade called PMB howeverit does not support USB and you need to have a firewire cable to transfer images from camera to computer. I unfortunately do not have a firewire port on my laptop so now I am trying to find out if there is a usb driver available.
Dear Sony camera user, Yes the Sony camera needs a driver in Windows PC's and no drivers are yet available for Win Vista or Win 7 PC user's. However if your camera has, and I am sure it has a Firewire cable (Plug marked with windmill marker) then you do not need a driver, just the cable to fit your camera to the Firewire port (Marked with windmill) on your PC. Your cable will be available from Sony, and Maplin Electrical, PC World and good camera shops at around £14. Good luck, from David
