Take off the strings and with the help of a flash light so you can see look on the inside, and you will have to push down on the battery case. if the guitar is laying flat on the floor face up, you will be looking inside, and push towards the ground with the screw driver on the battery compartment, and then you should be able to pull it out, i would know cus i just did it, and now the mission to put it back in begins

Yamaha g100-112 guitar amp.power light comes on no sound.Transistor heat sink cold

do you have a low hum from the speaker when u turn it on? if no, then take it to the repair tech. probably power on indicator is okay but power supply does not reach the pre-amp or the power amp section. case maybe bad filter capacitor or bad series power line resistor. get it checked. i sincerely doubt internal speaker loose connections.

do you have active or passive pick-ups? if active, pop in a new 9volt battery, that might do it, it worked for me. if that doesnt work, go to guitar center or somewhere and get a heavier insulated, better constructed cord. sonds like you might be completing the ground from interference if its not your battery. hope this helps

I had the same problem on my VTX65. I noticed it would oscillate with different effects so I removed the effects module. Problem solved. Now it's dead quiet. I use a Digitech RP500 so removing the effects module was a non issue.

Roland AC90 crackles when using a slide.

It is because the AC-90 is not grounded. If you look at the power cable, there is just + and -, no ground/earth. This is because ground is not usually needed when using acoustic guitars/ mikes. If you use an electric guitar, or a slide, there will be problem. I have a AC60, that does go to ground. No hum. AC90=hum. Can probably be fixed by attaching new power cable and soldering earth to the chassis, like on the ac60.
