Question about Intel PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Server (PWLA8492MTBLK5) Network Adapter
Problem with Intel (R) PRO/1000MT dual port network adaptor in
HP MP 7600.(?)
The PC is used in a plant system were there are 3 nets, A,B and C. Net A is OK, uses internal port. Net B and net C are on Intel card. When connected to net B, communication is OK, when net C is connected, the B net reports fail. The nets have different IP settings. Seems that the ports are interfering with eachother. Have checked IP, IRQ and other settings.

What I believe here is you are not typing in the pass-phrase(wireless password) correctly.
Go to 192.168.1.1 log on to the router ,in wireless section you will find the pass phrase,, create a new one and then try to connect.

You sound like you know what you're doing, so forgive me if these suggestions seem foolish or patronising..
Does your laptop have a wireless button?
When you go to Internet Options and click the Connections tab, have you checked 'Never Dial a Connection'? This is essential..
I have exactly the same ethernet card and network adaptor, but haven't had any problems, and we have 2 laptops and 2 pc's here all detecting our router okay so..
It's definitely not MAC filtering on the router, as you would still see the network in your list..
I can only suggest uninstalling the Intel Pro Wireless driver and downloading a fresh one from here.
That'll reset default settings at least..
Hope this helps
Let me know how you get on.. If I face this problem I want to know how to fix it too!
