A great many of the lower priced video/audio senders have a small adjuster to "FINE TUNE" them very carefully try this if yours is a quality unit it may be that you are trying to send over to great a distance or an obstruction is preventing the signal reaching the receiver.

I have just bought a 42LED5300 TV. However, after just 1 day of watching it, the screen has no picture although audio can still be heard in the background.

Make sure all of your audio and video cables are connected correctly. Make sure you selected the correct imput channel on the set. What I mean is if your watching a video, make sure you have selected the correct channel for the device you are using, either video 1 or2 and that the device is correctly installed to the TV. If you still have no picture, contact the store which you bought this and ask them if there is anything they can help you with, if this doesn't resolve the issue themn by all means take it back to the place of purchase and get an exchange. One day old they should take it back without an issue

I have just brought a nikkai 5.8 ghz audio/video sender so i can watch my sky in my bedroom but i am having real promblems with it i am getting no picture

I assume you have a 5.8Ghz receiver in your bedroom ? Your TV will not receive 5.8Ghz so you need a 5.8Ghz receiver in the bedroom that will give you an audio out and video out, which you connect into your TV audio in and video in .Put the TV on AV in and voila.

Can I hook up my tv wirelessly to my home network?

Well I have, using those 2.4GHz AV Video/Audio Senders/Receivers, and as long as the PC you wish to watch has Composite Video OUT, then you can connect the "Sender" to the Video & Audio OUT, this in turn is "Transmitted" to the Receiver, that OUTPUTS again composite Video & Audio to the TV's Composite Video IN and AV IN. Yellow Video & Red & White are Audio IN. Works a treat.

Forcing audio only signal through component

You cannot get AUDIO from Component Video, as it is only VIDEO, you must get another set of Cables RED & WHITE, and connect them from the AV, AUDIO Jacks, OUT on the "Sender" to the AV AUDIO IN on the TV. So you will have 5 Cables connecting BOTH Video & Audio. The Component Video, uses Blue, Green, & Red, these go color to color on the RCA Jacks at BOTH ends PLUS the Red & White Audio, color to color at BOTH ends. .Hope that clears things up.

Interference audio and on-screen

Try an HDTV. If you only have a standard TV, try a different one. I had the same problem and then bought a 1080p 16:9 aspect ratio HDTV and everything cleared up completely (sound and video). Update the ps3 to version 2.2 as well (just came out last night). Good luck!!

Interference and noise

there is nothing you can do about it, your sub probley has a built in amplifier right? the only thing you can do is live with it, like most things they normally have a little fcc sticker that states "this device must accept any interference received, including interference that cause undesired operation".
