The only place I have no sound is in paltalk rooms . Sometimes I get a broken sound after 10 to 30 minutes , sometimes it works fine also after a while but it's very rare . Could it be caused because of my router ( edimax) ? Thanks in advance for your help

I would try updating your Chrome, or removing it. Try Firefox if you like. You may not have enough memory to fully support what you're doing, too. Long wait times for Word or Excel tell me that the memory is "stressed", meaning that some stuff is being put on disk to allow new stuff to be read in. That can take a while.
try using flock, It is also powered by mozilla but faster than firefox.
you can download it at www.flock.com
there are only few add ons/plug ins but it sure does work faster and less or no crashes at all.
Have you tried re-installing FireFox? If not, give that a go. Otherwise, you may be better off contacting Mozilla. Check your screen resolution too. Running a low res these days can sometimes mean webpages wont display properly on Firefox, and it will sometimes highlight the words even if they are out of the windows view range. Try pressing "Ctrl-" a few times to zoom out and get a better view, then try again to see if you can spot the green highlights. Hope that helps.
