Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I am trying to change background colour of a picture on Adobe Potoshop CS2. I selected a background which then showed a sparkling border around it. Then I tried selecting a colour from Swatch or from the Colour box and doing OK, but the colour of the selection does not change. How do I change colours of selections in Photoshop? Many thanks

I want to learn the basic of photoshop cs2 .

There are also the "Dummies" books, and Adobe publishes an excellent guide called "Classroom in a Book" for Photoshop.

Check Amazon.com for great prices on books of this kind.

Black Background Around Layer Window

The expanded area outside your document is called the "workspace". You can change this to any color you want by following these steps:

1) Select the color you want, this will make the selected color into your Foreground color swatch.

2) In the tool palette select the Paint Bucket tool (this tool shares the same space in the tool palette as the gradient tool).

3) Make sure your window is large enough for you to see the workspace.

4) Hold down the Shift key and at the same time click the paint bucket in the workspace.

This will change the color of the workspace to the color you chose as your foreground color in step 1.

How we show shining in the picture

a reflection? Or something like a sparkle off a diamond?

The "sparkle" can be created using the star shape from the custom tool. You select the custom tool from the tool bar, then select the shape from the top of the page in the preset manager. You will then draw it out on your page, open the "paths" window from "window" drop down menu. Select the little selection icon (the circle with the dots) from the bottom of the path window box. Then from the tool bar, select the paint bucket and color it in.

Your best bet would be to look up a tutorial from google on this subject.

Display problems - missing borders and colours

good day,

does this problem only occur when you are browsing the internet? if so, this might be an issue on your internet browser. what internet browser and version are you using (internet explorer, firefox, etc)? you should also consider that some websites behave differently on different browsers.

try installing the latest available internet browsers available, i recommend that you use firefox 3.0.

i hope this will help
