This is a hardware problem so follow this steps:
"Shutdown your computer and remove the power cord attach to it before doing everything"
1. Open your computer case
2. Remove the memory card but please hold it on both ends ( memory is very sensitive in static electricity)
3. Using a soft brush remove the dirt in your memory. Then use rubber eraser or a pencil eraser to clean the pins of your memory.
4. Attach back your memory
5. Remove the video card if it is add-in and clean this the way you clean the memory. If it is built then do nothing.

I hope you'll follow this simple solution...

unplug and wait a min. or so, plug in, try again. if that fails, reboot, try a system restore/recovery. First reboot your computer in safemode by powering it down, turning it back on, and pressing F8 as it boots up. This will allow you to lower your resolution back to an acceptable level so you can shutdown and reboot again normally.

As far as the automatic changes in resolution, the problem is typically with the game itself and not your pc or monitor. I have experienced this with certain games and all other games worked well before and after the problem with the specific game. The actual game you were playing when it happened would help narrow it down if you wish to post it. Hope this helps.

During online game play-screen freezes after playing a game or two?TW2007

When you say the screen freezes, do you mean the entire computer freeze, forcing you to reboot it? Or did the game freeze, and you're able to ALT+TAB or CTRL+ALT+DELETE your way out of the program?
If the whole computer froze, it's likely to be a heat-related problem on your CPU or GPU. You can check your temperature using several utilities, such as Speedfan or Everest, or very likely in your BIOS as well. Different CPUs have different overheating temperatures, but usually they shouldn't be above 80 degrees C at extreme load times.
If it's above that, try cleaning your fan using a can of compressed air (You can buy that at any computer shop), moving your cables inside your computer for better air flow, or (as a last resort) open the side of your computer case.
If it's only the game that froze, and not the whole computer, you could check your graphics drivers, or check for any patches for the game itself.
