N79 freezes while accessing few application.

Its not even 1 week old. I encountered many problems with N79.
Music Player Hangs, when try to forward track or change track nothing works-Only removing battery helps recovering the phone.
Real Player doesn't show video sometimes.
Tried creating new profile which doesn't even open so that I can't create on. On top of that it hanged and had to remove the battery. Still unable to create a new profile.
Clicked on music player listen songs. The song list failed to start. Again same trick to restart is to remove the battery.

Please suggest me is that software issue or hardware issue. The handset updated recently with latest firmware version, no update available.
Any advice will be appreciated.

That might any a problem with memory partition, try to remove external memory and formatted your memory with the handset..

You can Reset your handset by dialling the no *#7870#.., please take the back up of your handset before doing that because it will delete all your data.. than try again. If it doesnot work than you have to get your handset flashed from your handset dealer. Nokia support number: 1-888-NOKIA-2U

Please backup the data by logging in to Safe Mode, please restart and start pressing F8 key to select Safe Mode then re-install the Windows 7 Operating System using the Recovery Disc or recovery Partition of the Hard Drive. The Recovery Partition can be accessed by restarting the computer and try pressing F10 Key. The Windows XP Operating System is displaying an error because it does not have SATA Driver to detect the Hard Drive. As Windows 7 has it, you can re-install it from recovery partition.

I have formatted my N79 and also formatted the memory card but still while running music player the previous songs are showing but can't able to to play.while trying to delete it ,saying system error.and...

The phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card using the PC. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation.

Check this link for formatting.

Date keeps changing a week forward after setting time

Hello,
A possible solution to this issue could be changing the automatic update of time and date. If it's currently switched on on your phone, try switching it off. And if it's already off try switching it off.
Here's where to find the setting: Menu >> Applications >> Clock >> Options >> Settings >> Automatic time update
For more info, check the (English) N79 manual on page 147

Player stopped working with rhapsody

Uh, I had a similar problem which was extremely difficult to solve. What you want to do is reformat your entire MP3 player. YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE MUSIC ON YOUR SANSA. But you can simply resynch it.
