Hi!

It's a codec problem - the format of your video is not supported by the software you are using. What software or player are you using? You can try to use VLC or Videolan software - it supports most video format.

The software is free - download it at https://videolan.org/vlc/ .

I hope it helps.

Good luck and have a nice day!

Are the other programs or audio files or movies have audio in your computer? Are all videos or audio have sounds? If you cannot hear any sound with any of those, then you can fix it by updating the sound driver in your computer. Try using RadarSync to scan and update the computer.

No audio

The format is not supported on the player within the PC. So it is possible that the player within the PC is not supportive. it will be best to download the drivers and software for the Samsung.check this link: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/download/supportGlobalDownloadPrdDetail.do

When I try opening the videos from the DCIM, the video is slow but the audio is normal. Basically they are out of sync. Help?

Are you playing back on the camera or on a computer?

If on the computer, try a different media player to see if that corrects the problem. VLC is a free media player that works well.

When i record a video and then play it back, to watch it, there is no sound

The C182 records audio but does not play it back. To hear your videos, first transfer them to your computer and play them back there.

My Sony Cybershot T90 Videos and audio is not sync when uploaded to my computer. But works fine when watching on the cam itself.

Copy the video first to the computer and play it using vlc player( it's a free software that supports most of the video and audio files that other players can't)

cheers!

No sound plays when I watch a video in the camera I recorded

All that should be there is a speaker symbol and bars representing the volume--no sound lines. Unless you're the type who likes to bang things on hard surfaces to get them to work, I would suggest that you use headphones (if you have them) and plug them into the little outlet on the right face of the camera, screen toward you. It should work, and you should hear sound along with your video.

This is normal. There are some streaming videos in justin.tv that really has no audio when played. You can report this by sending email to justin.tv to let them know of this. But really, when you are actually able to play the other videos in justin.tv, there is no problem with your computer.

I've recorded videos on the camera and when i want to play them back on my computer it simply says "video can't be displayed"

Hi,

There is a chance that you don't have the correct or updated audio and video codecs installed.
Codecs are required for playing the latest video and audio files.

Go here and download and install XP Codec Pack. Restart your computer and try playing one of your video's.
Get XP Codec Pack here >>>>>

Downloading video

The video recorded on some camera's may put the audio out of sync. That sounds like what has happened with you. If the sync is always off by lets say 2 seconds, you can fix this by taking the video footage into an editing system and you can align/adjust the audio to match the video. It's a little extra work, but it will fix you problem.

Good luck
