Will replacing a cartridge in my Jado Glance single lever bathroom faucet make the water flow again? It's down to a trickle!

Sounds like you installed the cartridge incorrectly. The orientation is important to note when removing the old unit. Try pulling it out and reversing the orientation. Check the inlets and match them up.

Can't get cold water

the balancing spool sounds like it is frozen. You need to replace the cartridge. The spool needs to move freely to regulate the water coming through it to keep from scalding a person.

I need to know how to get to the ink cartridges on

  1. Make sure the All-In-One is on.
  2. Pull the control panel toward you, and then open the cartridge access door
acartopb.jpg

The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-In-One is busy.
  1. Pull the old cartridges toward you, and then lift them out. Store them in an air tight container or dispose of them.
If you are installing new cartridges, remove the sticker and transparent tape from the bottom of the cartridges.

Insert the color cartridge in the left carrier. Insert the black cartridge in the right carrier.

Push back firmly on the cartridges until they snap securely into place.

Close the cartridge access door, and then close the control panel.

  1. Use the buttons on the control panel to answer the questions that appear on the display:
  2. If the color cartridge you installed is new (it has never been used), press Select.
If it is old (it has been used), press the right arrow button once, and then press Select.
  1. If the part number that appears is the number of the color cartridge you are using, press Select.
If it is not the number of the color cartridge you are using, press the right arrow button until the correct part number appears, and then press Select.
  1. If the black cartridge you installed is new, press Select.
If it is old, press the right arrow button once, and then press Select.
  1. If the part number that appears is the number of the black cartridge you are using, press Select.
If it is not the number of the black cartridge you are using, press the right arrow button until the correct part number appears, and then press Select.
  1. Continue with Aligning the print cartridges to ensure proper installation.
Note: You can also use the Lexmark Solution Center to install the print cartridges

  • Click Start onestep.gif Programs onestep.gif Lexmark 4200 Series onestep.gif Lexmark Solution Center.

Lexmark x85 multifunctional, not recognize cartidrige color

The cartridges are only installed through the printer itself and there is no installation of cartridges through the Lexmark software. You should ensure the Lexmark X85 has the cartridges installed in stand-alone mode. To do so, please follow the steps given below:
1. Push the "Menu" button 10 times, until "Maintenance" appears.
2. Then hit "Select" and "Change Cartridges" should appear.
3. Hit "Select" again. It will prompt you to open the lid and change the cartridges. Please do so.
4. When the lid is closed, the display will ask you if new or old cartridges were installed. If new, it may ask you to align the cartridges and you should do this too.
If it is not noticing a change, remove and reinsert the cartridges about 3 times in a row to re-establish pin connections. If this still presents you with a "Change Cartridge" or "Low Ink Level" message or something similar, try a different cartridge.
