my father purchased a Samsung 225bw about 2- 2 1/2 years ago and has been having video problems for the past two weeks up until the display decided to quit showing video. i am fairly positive the video card is busted, or there are some loose soldering thing-a-ma-gigs. i was wondering if this is a problem that can be fixed by me, (i am not experienced, but willing to take the time to fix the problem, and also willing to open it up), or if it requires parts needed to be installed professionally.
-   One day the monitor simply quit on me. I moved it to another pc to make sure it was not the video card. It didn't work on the other pc either. I then took a known working monitor and connected it to the pc that had the samsung. The other monitor works perfectly. When I connect the Samsung, all I get is a blinking light in the front.

I have dislpay setting set to dual and both monitors have worked fine for a year and a few days ago the second stopped. It seems like it flashes an "analog" message and then goes black. the one that is still working always starts with "digital" message. Any suggestions
