LG FB162 no sound when connected with Aux

Instead of aux (Blue Connector of PC Sound), try using head phone jack (Green Connector of PC Sound). It if is working fine, uninstall sound driver of your PC, restart PC and install sound driver again. Your problem will be fixed.

The AUX button says SAT 1, SAT 2, AND SAT 3. It does NOT say AUX Line In and does not recognize anything plugged into the aux port. What can I do to get the AUX port working???

Make sure whatever is plugged into the Aux port is the proper size and configuration (2-lead, 3-lead; 3.5mm, etc) as far as the cable, is properly seated (not so big that it doesn't fit all the way in) and that the device is on. Most Aux inputs don't activate unless there is an active signal coming in.

Where is the AUX connection on the radio

There is no port. There should be a ten wire bundle (5 pair) coming out of the back (next to the power port). One pair of wires should be labeled aux in.

Aux input not working

Unfortunately the whole head unit needs to be replaced if the actual port is broken, but before you spend all of that money buying and installing a new head unit, try to replace the cable that you are using.if it still does it after the new cable then try to get some electric contact cleaner spray from the auto parts store CRC makes a good cleaner spray.Spray it into the aux port on the head unit and see if that works. If that does not work then replace the whole head unit

Aux cable snapped of inside external Audio port (AUX). an ideas on how to get the piece out? or does anyone now how to take the AUX port out of the console? 2008 crv, center console unit.

I have a 2007 CRV which had the same issue. I fixed this by:
- first removing the AUX port cover by carefully prying it up from both the rear-facing and front-facing edges. Once done, this exposes the AUX port mechanism itself.
- Using some needlenose plyers, I pulled out the AUX port component. It simply slides out.
- The trick now is to PUSH the broken piece out of the inside of the port. To do this, I first removed the "cover" that is covering the end of the port (opposite from the opening to the port). Be very careful with this step as you don't want to break the cover. It's very thin plastic.
- Once this cover is removed, I used a pin to push the piece that was lodged inside back out of the opening.
Reassembly was the opposite of this and was quick.
Hope that helps.
- Dave

Aux port doesn't show; Button is Stuck

Hello,

I don't know if you have figured out how to turn the AUX port on yet, but I just figured it out. First, turn the CD Player off by quickly pushing the "Source" button. This is also the volume knob. Then, after the player is off, hold down the "Source" button. This will bring up the initial setup. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the options. One of the options is to turn the AUX port on. Once this is finished, turn the unit back on and you're ready to go.
