This might happen due to an error or corrupted MBR, which is the sector that allow you pen to be readable and the PC might not recognize the system file being used.
I would try to connect it to another PC with a different Operating system and format it from there.
alternative you can also use Transcend recovery tool. You can download from HERE
Download the pen drive software from the manufacturers website under>support>download and enter the correct model number>after download on your pc> install - but do not connect the pen drive and install software>once installation complete>restart pc>connect pen drive> Amen - ur done.Enjoy
If you have any other Computer with XP operating System. Connect the Drive. Check if detected then format the drive by checking full format on the menu.
Then connect it the Vista computer and Use it.
Hope This Helps!!! Please Don't Forget to Rate my Response!!! Thanks!!!
I sold the nano pen drive to my friend :-) i just use a kingston pen drive. I think maybe the fujitsu fmv couldn't support/read the nano pen drive "cause i've installed the driver from imation web site but it still won't detect the nano pen drive.
I dont think this problem is due to the pen drive. It may be more due to the system. Check the driver of the system. This may even happen if the system is affected by virus. So try if your pen drive is getting detected in other computers. If yes, then there may be virus infectiond in your pen drive. So run a virus scan and it may help.
