USB pen drive is not readable in my nippon car sterio

Depending upon what it is you are trying to access on the drive. Most car stereos are very specific about how the file/folder structure must be on the drive in order to access it. They are not PCs, and as such are not as versatile to varying configurations. Check your stereo manual to see what the specifics are to get your unit to read and use the USB drive.

Observe the compartibilities on the drive. The computer has to have compartible requiremetns to capture resources on devices as externals. Recently innovated computers are pen device compartble. prior computers howver require verifications to ascertain whether comaprtible also from which update makes readability in instances attainable.

I can't format my pen drive how can I format my pen drive

Hi,
there may be a small sliding switch that could be set to "Protect" ie the drive is protected from formatting, or deleting or even adding files.
Change the position and then re-insert the drive into your computers USB port. Go to My Computer, right click the pen drive and select "Format"
FAT32 format will give you a drive that is readable and compatible with Windows 95, Win98, Win2000, XP etc.
You can format in NTFS format but it will only be readable by Win2000,XP or Vista or Win7.
Cheers,
Steve

Pen drive is not detecting

Hi,
1. Connect your pen drive to some other USB ports present at the rear side of your desktop pc.
2. In case of laptop, try connecting to some other available usb ports and check
3. In still not detected, then test your pen drive in some other systems.
4. If still not working, then it implies that your pen drive got detects.
5. If your pen drive is original kingston then you can claim the warranty from the place where you got it.

I hope this information is helpful for you
Thanks

Kingston 4gb not detected

Hi,
I dont think this problem is due to the pen drive. It may be more due to the system. Check the driver of the system. This may even happen if the system is affected by virus. So try if your pen drive is getting detected in other computers. If yes, then there may be virus infectiond in your pen drive. So run a virus scan and it may help.

Thanks.
