Question about Computers & Internet

I have been advised that my manuscript BEHIND THE RHETORIC , ID 4984867, has completed the conversion process. I have ordered one copy for review. Do I have to wait for it to arrive or can I access the draft and work on it in the meantime?

Clearly your wires are crossed and you shouldn't be working on your manuscript. Who uses terms like rhetoric anymore, really?

How to do I go about getting a manuscript published by either myself or a publisher?

To get a manuscript published by a publisher get yourself a copy of the latest edition of the Writers and Artists Yearbook. It contains lots of tips and the address of all the Agents and Publishers that will see manuscripts. There should be a new one for 2016 in the shops shortly or now!

To do it yourself you need a DTP (Desk Top Publisher) software. This will import your typescript into the software and arrange the pages into book pages. Once you are happy with it you can either take the printed pages (or a disc of them) to a printer who will make the number of copies of books you want, which you then have to sell! Or you can have the DTP software make an e-book and sell it via online sites such as Amazon.

Never try to publish the book yourself and then try to send it to a publisher. They will not touch a self publish work due to "first rights" thing!

I've tried the chkdsk command, it suddenly get to 69% complete and remains there for 7hours.

In Windows 7 use Ctrl+Shift+Esc rather than Ctrl+Alt+Del. It gets you to Task Manager quicker. Select Task Manager, the Performance tab, Resource Monitor, and Memory tab. What are the figures for Hardware Reserved, In Use, Modified, Standby and Free?
Please download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and upload a copy of the report to your Sky Drive as a shared file:

Ive just installed windows 7 on my pc and I wanted to know where to paste my old yahoo messenger conversations... I installed yahoo but I think its another version of it and I just cant find the Profile...

Your "Profiles" folder contains your complete message history archive on your computer. You can copy it to the same location on another computer if you want to view it there. We've included instructions for Windows XP and Windows Vista users.
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows XP:
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (64-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Yahoo!\Messenger\
Warning: Copying your Profiles folder to another computer overwrites any existing message history archive on that computer and it is replaced by yours. That overwritten message history archive will be permanently eliminated by this process. (Workaround: Backup that message archive first to a storage medium such as a CD ROM.)
