Question about ViewSonic G70F 17'' Monitor + Wyse Winterm 1200LE (g70f-bun) Network Terminal
Trying to get Fedora Linux to run. Core 6 installed. As it boots, immediately after "starting udev:" get the message on my monitor "H.V Frequency over range" on Viewsonic G70F being fed from the VGA port on a Gigabyte S3 s series motherboard. I don't really know what is going on. Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
I have a philips 105s5 crt monitor.First problem is vertical dead.Replaced this ic .Power ok but screen appear" H.V frequency over range" .How to solve this problem.Please suggest me.

When your computer won't boot properly. check for components in your pc especially the RAM. it is that your pc have problem and not the monitor.

I have faced the same problem ie
"HV frequency over range"
i simple restart my Pc and attach another monitor and set the resolution to 800*600 again restart my Pc and attach my own monitor on which problem was ouccured and get rid of this problem.

Check the xorg.conf and look for the "Monitor" section, once there writte:
This values are according to the monitor model, check the website for this values...
