Pink screen Hi, I have Quad Core Mac and when I plugged it in and turned it on today the screen was pink! What is wrong here? All the colors are washed out and have a pink cast to every thing. I am afraid to use it or plug in my external hard drive.

Either the charger or the battery is faulty, from the sound of your fault description. If the tablet will turn on and run normally when the charger is plugged in, then the problem most likely lies with the battery. If it will not run even when the charger is on, then the charger is most likely the cause of the fault. If your tablet is still under warranty, either problem should be repaired free

I believe it's not removable

idea of screen calibration is that all screens are different in several aspects, color expression being one of them. If the screen is severely tinted pink, that might be a problem,

Kathy...have you tried connecting another monitor to the same video card and computer? It could be...

1. Video card defective
2. VGA cable from computer to monitor defective...look for bent pins in plug.

The VGA cable from the computer video output carries three distinct colors...red, green and blue. Likewise one of these colors may not arrive at the monitor correctly or at all. The results being that all colors are incorrect.

If nothing is happening, then you probably have a bad power supply or you have bad connections between your power supply and motherboard. You can take the cover off and make sure that everything is plugged in well. Make sure to touch the side of the case to dispel all static electricity before you touch any of the components. If the machine fans turn on and then it refuses to boot, you might have a bad hard drive or a motherboard issue. If you hear any beeps at startup, you can look those up online because every beep configuration is a clue to something wrong with the machine.

This means, that your screen is faulty and only solution is to replace screen.
