Question about Maytag Dryers
This dryer is around fifteen to eighteen years old. I thought it might be the thermostat. Is this difficult to replace?
It isn't the switch- thermostat switches either work or they don't. One of your heater coils is probably out or if you have a dryer that has only one coil it is probably not working very well and needs replaced. This is an easy and inexpensive repair and for less than around 50 bucks - it is like getting a new dryer.
