My son's v smile games won't play, some have a green looking flim on metal. how do i fix this?

Clean the metal with rubbing alcohol

    Also, buy some sticky back felt paper. (you can get it at walmart) cut a strip that is about 1'' across, and as wide as the game cartridge. Stick to the back of the cartridge about 1/4 to 1/2 '' up from the bottom. It helps secure the game. The cartridges tend to get loose after so much pulling out and putting back in. Sure beats buying a new gameing system. I did this on my son's vsmile and it definately works!

Not playing on the screen. green light is lit,

Remove all Smartridges, controllers, adapter or batteries.
Examine the Smartridge slot for loose objects, Blow into it to
remove dust or debris.
Pull back the plastic sleeve on the Smartridge and clean both sides
of the metal contact with alcohol and a cotton swab.
Insert the Smartridge into the Smartridge slot and remove quickly
twice without turning on the V.Smile unit.

Have you checked the game settings themsleves? My son accidentally turned the sound off within the game while he was playing. Frustrated me for DAYS!!!

Sounds like the contacts on the games need to be cleaned. On the game cartridge, push back the little cover and clean the gold colored contacts on both sides. I use a cotton ball or q-tip with alcohol on it. Let it dry before you put it back in the

V-smile crashed

Our daughter got one last christmas, after 6 months or so, it has stopped working. It was a present from grandama and I don't think it has a warranty, certainly no receipt can be found. It's very dissapointing and I have heard from other parents who bought this V-Smile that theirs just stopped working too for no reason. We thought it was the batteries, so kept buying more, then we got the adaptor, still won't work. Now and then it works, but not often.

my son's psp 1001 sony brand will turn on and charge we bought a new battery for it, but when he trys to play a game it won't run it will start to turn the disc then it will stop and the umd symbol don't even show up in the game catagories i need help to fix it..
