Question about JVC GRD-350US Mini DV Digital Camcorder

1 Answer

Do i need a new cam???

My 4 year old dropped my JVC GR-D32U Mini-DV cam on hardwood floor! At first all seemed well, and I was relieved ... until it came time to eject tape. The tape plays fine ... it jusy wont come out! The "Open/Eject" buttom wiggles from right to left, and it will not allow the tape to be ejected. Is this an affordable (<$100.00) fix or is a new camera in order???

You cannot tell if the switch for the eject is broken on the printed circuit boar, or the switch knob may only be internally broke unless you take the camcorder apart. I have seen just the knob break off inside and this know is only a few bucks + the labor, and thats what ia going to cost the most.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

put cam in for professional service - either the head needs replacing (worn) or the cassette cage is warped and in need of realignment.

If it's a JVC GR-D72, then it's MiniDV. Connect the camcorder via firewire to your PC

JVC camcorder GR-D328EF english operational manual. The manual I got is in French

JVC does not show this model to be a valid model number in the database. The model series begins with the GR-D32U which I have a manual for. If you would like, I can convert it to a PDF for you and email it to you. Joe Weibel Custom Electronics (customelectronics.org)
