Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

My dell inspiron m5030 laptop goes to my background screen with nothing to choose.wat happened?

They are hiding behind background screen and discussing between services in background for conspiracy against you. Not really as it was, windows is processing a start up item, if it really doesn't load anything perhaps your explorer is stop working or taking a longer time to load, try pressing Ctrl+alt+del, open task manager, click on "Processes" tab and try look for "explorer.exe", if it doesn't show there you go to "File" menu and click "new task (run)" and type explorer, if you can find explorer.exe in task manager, right click to it and select "end task" then after it gone repeat step before.

Open the Control Panel, Sounds. Try doing a Windows and Sony Updates to verify they are current, up-to-date. You can find the Windows XP Audio drivers here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/model-home.pl?mdl=PCVRX550&template_id=1&region_id=1&tab=download#/downloadTab You can reset the Tray Notification Area by opening the Task Manager,(right click a open area in the Taskbar, select Start Task Manager) select explorer.exe and click on End Process, in the pop-up, End Process again, now select top left File, select New Task (Run...), in the Create New Task , type explorer, click OK. your Tray Notification Area is reset.

My Acer Aspire has lost all the icons on the work tray. I can't get any sound or connect to the internet.

What OS are you using? This should work on your version of Windows. Open the Task Manager, highlight explorer.exe, click on end process, open File, top lelt corner, click on New Task (Run..), type explorer, click on OK. That should reset your Tray Notification Area.

I have no sound on my computer

You didn't give your OS, but in the Tray Notification Area is there a Sound icon? If no Open Control Panel, Sound. OR Open Windows Task Manager, Processes tab, highlight , Image Name "explorer.exe" and click on end process, a box will appear, end process, In the top left corner of Windows Task Manager is FILE, click, New Task (Run...), in the open box type, explorer.exe, and click OK. This will return your icons. As for the audio open Device Manager, Sound, is it enabled? Drivers? Have you done a OS upgrade? You could do a system restore to a date before this issue.

Added RAM memory and did windows disk check on my Sony Vaio desktop with Windows xp, now IE and other programs will not open. Nothing happens when icons are clicked and bottom toolbar does not load i

First, remove the memory and replace the old memory, does the help? Be sure to unplug and REMOVE battery. Second, do a system restore to before this problem. Is the memory the exact type that was removed? Open the Task Manager and look for a process "explorer.exe" select and click on "end process", in the task manager open file, New Task (run..) in Create new Task type: explorer, click on OK.

A virus or infection has hidden your desktop or files and folders.
If your desktop icons are missing try the steps below.
Click Ctrl+Alt+Del to get to Task Manager. Hold the Ctrl key, plus Hold the Alt Key then hit the Del key while holding them. Once the task manager opens Clcik the Processes tab then click the Image Name Column heading on the left to get them in alphabetical order. Scroll down and look for explorer.exe. If you see it click it to highlight it then click End Process.

Next, click the FILE tab at the very top left of the window and select New Task (RUN). When the Create New Task window opens type explorer.exe and press ok. Your start menu, task bar and desktop icons will start appearing and populating. if not that means a virus has hidden your files and folders.

If your files and folders are missing then try the steps below.
Open the Task Manager by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Del. Press and Hold the Ctrl key and the Alt Key, then hit the Del key. Run the Task Manger.
In the upper left hand corner of the Task Manager window click File then select New Task (Run...). When the Create New Task window opens type: explorer.exe and press OK. Look for My Computer on the left when explorer returns the results. Don't click the + sign to the left of My Computer, instead click directly on the words My Computer, then look to the right and you will see Local Disk C. Click on Local Disk C one time just to highlight it, you don't want to open it. Once you have it highlighted in blue go to the top of the window and click Tools/Folder Options/View and look down and select Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Things should start appearing if not you can open the Local Disk C drive and click Documents and Settings (Windows XP) or Users (Windows 7) and look down and find the userid or user folders and Right Click on the Folder and select Properties. Look down for the Attributes near the bottom and if the Hidden has check in the box Remove the Check and click Apply. When Prompted apply the setting to all subfolders so that they too will not be hidden. Depending on the of the folder this might take a few minutes. This should restore you back to being operational.

You should download and run MalwareBytes to get rid of the infection.
Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download andinstall malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When thesite opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do notclick the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the GuiInterface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When I finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your mach

My computer wont show my desktop screen after i loggin to user account

LOL, ok it looks like a virus or infection has hidden your desktop or just disabled explorer from showing it.

Lets assume that it's just an explorer issue.
Press and Hold the CTRL+ALT+DEL. This will open the Task Manager. When it opens click the Processes Tab and then click on the column heading Image Name to sort them alphabetically. Look at the items under the Image Name column and see if you see explorer.exe. If you see explorer.exe click it once to highlight it then click End Process.

Next Click File at the top of the task manager window, then click New Task (Run...). When the Create New Task window opens type: explorer.exe and hit OK. The items on your desktop should start appearing. if not that means the virus or infection has them hidden so try the steps below.

Sounds like a virus has hidden your files and folders. When you click start do you see My Computer or is Start not there at the lower left on the screen?

If the Start is located at the bottom left then click it and see if you have things inside of it such as Programs or All Programs, etc.

Try the step below:
Open the Task Manager by clicking Ctrl+Alt+Del. Press and Hold the Ctrl key and the Alt Key, then hit the Del key. Run the Task Manger.
In the upper left hand corner of the Task Manager window click File then select New Task (Run...). When the Create New Task window opens type: explorer.exe and press OK. Look for My Computer on the left when explorer returns the results. Don't click the + sign to the left of My Computer, instead click directly on the words My Computer, then look to the right and you will see Local Disk C. What kind of software is it? If you go to the Task Manager (Control + ALT + DEL) you should see the process running there. End task and then try to run it again.
