- i have a similar prob. i am told "no audio device installed".i have tried to install a device but am told i have one ! I have gone into my devices and found "realtek high definition device" and next to it there is a yellow tiangle.If i right click the options are to diasable or uninstall.- kayjay45

You will need to re-install your sound card drivers, which you will find on disk 1 of the system disks. you may also find that after a couple of start ups that the sound goes off again, I fixed this problem when I added more memory. good luck.
