We've bought a new battery, a new charger, a new usb cable, and NOTHING works. like when we charged it all the way and push the on button it blinks twice and the shutter moves but nothing happens. i have a kodak easyshare m1063.
The same thing happened to me, I just called HP which took like an hour and told them what was going on and they walked me through trouble shooting steps over the phone which took another hour and then they mailed me a new camera and i sent them the old one with a prepirinted shipping label from them. this happened to me twice.

The manual says, when the light is flashing green:
The USB cable or Charging AC Adapter is not properly connected, or there is a problem with the battery. Disconnect the USB cable or unplug the Charging AC Adapter and correctly connect it again, or change the battery.
So make sure you are using a good USB cable, the cable is put in correct. (far enough and straight) And I hope you did not put in the battery the wrong way around, because that could cause damage to the camera and battery.
Make sure the battery and the camera do have clean and shiny contacts. Only to clean with a dry cloth.
And if the problem stays, perhaps you should accept the battery is dead.
You could try to charge it on an external charger, if you have one. And start and stop charging, if you think it is not yet charging.
But if after just a few attempts nothing changes, I think you should buy a new battery.
well maybe there is the lince stucked what you can try plugg it to a usb cable and that to a extern cable to the charger cable for usb once you see the light you take the usb cable out of the fotocamera should open now . but propably the fotos have on the side some damage -
The battery should be good if it was bought in January, with that said nothing is nperfect or lasts forever, there are always issues with some things. If all your connections from the charger or USB are good and tight and the cables are good, the either the battery is bad or the plug in on the camera is bad, or the battery nmay be installed incorrectly. That is about all there can be .
1= Use rechargeable battery cells and must be fully charged. 2= Check battery terminals in camera battery compartment. Must be cleaned and shiny. 3= Sony camera DCS-S600 won't charge batteries through USB cable plugged in PC. You need external battery charger to charge battery cells.
Possible failed battery showing fully charged but actually not -or even charger. No reset]
Disconnect from the wall socket- re connect and tell us if the battery is now charging.
If show full- replace battery.
