The pump is located behind front bottom panel on the right side assuming that your machine is a Whirlpool or Kenmore Front-Loader. Disconnect power and remove
the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet
then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom
front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to
access and remove the screws more easily.
Once the panel is off,
remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise. Clean the filter
from any debris that prevents water from draining out properly. Click
on the link below for further troubleshooting should the cleaning of the
filter does not resolve the problem.
Hi, Just tilt the washer back and prop it up with some wood blocks. Three screws are right on the front at the very bottom. Use a 9/32 socket to remove them. The front cover slides right off. The drain trapclean out is right in the middle. Turn the large white knob counter-clockwise to remove it and clean. Thank you !!

If you are talking about the drain pump strainer, you need to remove the lower front panel. should be 3 screws on the bottom facing forward. Once you have that off, the pump strainer is almost in the center, facing you. unscrew it counterclockwise to remove.
There is no acutal filter on this unit...You cab remove the back panel to access the drain pump ...Or tilt the washer back and access it from the bottom...Remove the drain hose from tub to drain pump...(careful of flow of water from tub)...Check the hose for any blockage...If no blockage then your pump is bad..
It will not spin if it has water in it. you need to remove and clean the filter.
Generally speaking the filter is usually located at the bottom right front of washer.
Some times behind a removeable cover at bottom of washer.
Once you have located it, unscrew the filter anti-clickwise to remove and clean.
Hope this helps.
The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off.Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a good plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully.Check your pump too, comes after the filter.

Pl post back as to how it went.
If you have not already done so, clean the filter behind the panel in the front bottom of the washer. Remove the three philips head screws to get the panel off. Unscrew the plastic filter on the right hand side (use a shallow cake pan to catch any water). Remove the filter and clean out the pens, pencils, change, lint, etc... and put back in. All should work well after this. Thanks, Greg
