Question about Amana Washing Machines
My tenants tell me the Amana washing machine is broken and I picked up a second hand one on Craig's list but am now wondering if I should have just repaired the old one which was a better make. My tenants say the machine sounded like a machine gun and wasn't draining water. I think it wasn't rotating either. Is this an easy, cheap fix or should I just substitue the second hand Roper which seems to be a less valuable model?
Sounds like the transmission is bad. To tell the truth the roper is a way better machine. Whirlpool makes roper and they are basically the same machine so it isnt even a cheap washer. Its a great machine! Better than the amana to start with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
