I have the HE265B By-Pass
I have the HE265B By-Pass Flow-Through Hunidifiers installed in the summer, but it never on, until this fall, I tried to turn, but no water flow through. How can I test it?
The contractor is NOT willing to come back with so many excuse ..

- After I made sure there is water in, and I turn the humidistat to ON or HIGH, I did not hear a click sound from the solenoid value, does it mean no power to the humidistat or the solenoid valve is not working?Best Solution

first break or loosen the water line connection at the humidifier and if you get water then you know it is something else. While the heat is running and main blower is also running, turn the humidistat from low to high; if you hear a click in the solenoid valve (where you checked the water) then you know it has power and the humidistat works. anything deyond that call a good contractor.

- Yes, it sounds like there is no power (24v) going to the unit or it was not wired properly. I would have a qualified hvac contractor come in to fix-it and advise ther other contractor that you are going to notify the better business bureau.jjplumber
