Question about Ovens

I need a replacement door for a built in Baumatic 720 series oven

The inner glass shattered in the bottom oven, and although Baumatic sent me a replacement, I think a seal must have been broken behind the door glass as since then grease gets in behind the outer glass door, where I can't get at it to clean. I woud like to know if it is possible to get a replacement door and where from.

I have exactly the same problem and my bottom glass panel exploded. My friends did the same. You can take the inside glass panel out via the two screws and clean the inside of the outer glass once removed. Id replace all the rubber seals to as they perish, particularly the one that clips onto the oven itself that meets the door.

How do we replace the shattered inner glass of the oven?

Anne,
Most oven will have a series of screws that hold the door halves together and you would need remove those so that you can gain access to the glass panel. Some doors only have two screws that also hold the door handle on and you would have to remove just those to gain the access you need. Hope this helps!

Hi.
You should not need to replace the complete door, just the door glass.
If you have not already done so, then I would suggest you contact the maker direct, they should be able to help you.
Try the web site.

The main oven inner glass door panel has shattered

Unfortunatey, it happens quite frequently, there is no one reason for it to do so.
The only solution is to replace it.
Over a number of years use, the glass looses it's properties, and this is what can happen.
