I can no longer get online with my Toshiba Satellite laptop.

You need to purchase a good antivirus utility like Norton Antivirus. Load the clean disk to boot your laptop with and let it get on with the cleaning process.

there is a possibility that norton firewall is blocking it. You can go to firewall settings from your norton antivirus and allow network sharing or turn off norton firewall, You can still use your windows firewall just to make sure you are protected

Download and run Norton power eraser tool , it il safely remove the virus files from your computer

You should have received the activation code when you purchased the download....if you didn't purchase the download, then go online to www.symantec.com to purchase/activate your program. Print your receipt with the activation code on it...or you should have received an email from Norton (Symantec) with your activation code. If the program you downloaded was a trial version, then you will need to purchase it in order to get your activation code......

try to send a purchase bill to norton company, and ask for refund or a valid key to use. you can change to another antivirus suit. is less expensive. all antivirus companys is now give 2 years licence.
