What model Lenovo ??...
Because PC makers no longer include floppy drives in
computers, many new PC users have never used one.
Nevertheless, there are many occasions when a floppy drive
can be the most convenient form of file storage and transfer for small files.
On most Lenovo ThinkCentre PCs, a floppy drive is an add-on
option and most packages do not include the device unless you specifically
request it.
If you purchased a ThinkCentre PC without a floppy drive,
you can add one to the system yourself and save some money vs. taking the
system to a shop.
Shut down the ThinkCentre computer.
Disconnect the AC power cord and other peripherals.
Move the computer to a sturdy work surface.
WARNING: Before you start troubleshooting remember that you are dealing with
electricity that can KILL.

Firstly the editorial comments should be kept to yourself. Secondly I should have been clearer about the question, same question to attach any device in a drive bay like a DVD drive. It was more of a mechanical question, I was having trouble opening the front of the tower case. I eventually noticed the round plastic hollow peg like fasteners that were holding the front of the case one. But then there were under that metal flaps with holes in them that had to be pried away from the case to make an opening underneath the outer metal plates that can be reattached with screws. Sometimes it takes a little cleverness to open these cases, as I have noticed on some other tower cases as well.
