woolworths don't make electrical or electronic units
it will be just a badge on a unit made by an electronic/ electrical shop--probably chinese
look all over the unit and where there is a model number and a serial number you will most likely find a small tag that says made by---
that is the manufacturer you will have to contact on line to get the manual.
You can either go into menu (pressing 'FUNCTIONS' button on remote) and look for 'RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS' or similar heading, or you can (while unit is on) on the front of the unit (not the remote) press CH UP and CH DOWN buttons together for 5 seconds - the unit will switch to standby. Give either one a try. (refer to page 60 onwards in your user manual - these pages detail 'settings').
If you cannot find your manual, it is available for download (free) - http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Video/DVD-Recorders-Players/DVD-Recorders/Operating-Instructions/model.DMR-EH55S.O#ts
I hope this helps in some small way. Thanks for asking FixYa!
use a video splitter for the audio and video, or go out of the DVD player in to the DVR, out of the DVR into the TV (WARNING!!!! Trying to hook a DVD player to any recording device may trigger the copyright protection, causing blue flashes, and distorted pictures)
