Dear Sir, I bought recently an Aspire 8920G. Trying to shut down, the computer simply restarts. I replaced the OS Vista Home Premium, now I have installed de Ultimate version. The problem persists. Do you have any idea to solve such problem? I will appreciate your help.

In my case with an Aspire 4710 it was the old or incorrect chipset drivers from the Acer site. After downloading the proper new drivers from Intel all is fine. http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-022034.htm
i have a acer aspire 4710z. This laptop can not open the display but the system unit is working normally. i can not see the display but i can join the external monitor i will see it process. Pls let me know how can i repair it.Pls reply to this email thanks. firstname.lastname@example.org
