Question about Sony VPH-G70Q Video Projector (VPH G70Q, VPHG70Q, VPH-G70, VPH G70, VPHG70) Multimedia Projector
We are wondering if moisture can mess up a video projector? We have a portable church (we set up and take down our equipment each week) we are currently storing our projector in a trailor with the other equipment, but it gets some condensation once taken indoors. Can the moisture and/or temperature change mess up the projector? Should it be kept in an airtight container and/or in a heated area?
Thanks so much!
Absolutely. The circuitry can "short out" on the controller boards.
A Pelican watertight case or similar is your best best.
They're not too expensive... but a new projector is more expensive.
Here's their site with different models available.
