Question about Macromedia Contribute 3 And FlashPaper 2 (vctd030dct10) for PC, Mac

1 Answer

Contrbute can connect to server but is unable to transfer data

I've been using contribute 3 on my laptop at home to update my school's website for weeks. I sometimes got message saying couldn't connect to server when I tried to publish a page or create a draft but this was usually at night and after a couple of tries it would work. Then I started to get the message that contribute can connect to server but is unable to transfer data, check firewall and connection. My firewall is set to allow contribute and the network is ok. Nothing has changed on my laptop so I can't understand why this has happened. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times and can only get as far as the testing connection screen.

Www.yahoo.com website not opening , display shows --The server at login.yahoo.com is taking too long to respond.------- Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Try it all over and over again sometimes transmittal of data through a website server may delayed sometimes due to low internet bandwidth or maybe the server is busy in accepting data sent to them..if nothings happen. Try to reset your internet connection.

NAV cannot connect to the server

Try to access another antivirus website online scanner and go to windows update if you are unable to access them as well you have Win32.Worm.Downadup.Gen. It prevents any access to any antivirus software and windows updates it also turns off any installed sntiviru updates. Removal is actually really simple just go here

How can i unlock myspace on the internet at school because they have everything blocked including the unblock websites and you are going to need a LAN-setting code

Go to a proxy server.. E.g: http://www.freeproxyserver.net/

This might take a little longer to load as its sending packets to a server, then to the website then back to the server then to your computer..
But this will unlock myspace.. But after a while your school will click on ^^

Can't Connect to the internet.

Hi!
1. I think your connection is temporarily blocked by university. (Have you used P2P clients like bittorrent, Vuze. Usu. Uni block ur account because of excessive data usage). Call them and make sure they didnt clock ur access.
2. Mosttimes installation of new antivirus, firewall mess up your connection. so then you have to uninstall and then reinstall your firewall again.
3. Can you please go to one of your friends place and try to log in using non Uni/ school network. If it works it again prove your account is suspended.
4. Go to HP website using other computer. under hp customer support you can find latest Wireless and Lan drivers for your laptop. Then download it and install it to your computer. Then It will sove your problem.
If non of these dint work please let me know.
I will try my best to help!

"use a proxy server for your lan (These settings will not apply..

I assume you find this in Tools, Internet Options, Connections, LAN. This proxy server setting is only used when you are working through a network at a school or company. You need to have the checkmark next to "automatically detect settings" if you work through most broadband connections like cable or DSL.
Now, if you have the "automatic" checked and the Proxy check appears anyway, this must mean that you have some program that is trying to connect to some network or call home somehow. This could be a virus. Do you have a good AV program? Be careful because many of the websites that say they want to check your system are actually virus downloaders.
