I have a toshiba cx32h60 tv that i've had for a few years and the color stream does not work, when i connnect a device by way of component cables the picture does not show but i get a flickering color rainbow but i get audio...can you help? is there a reset function or would i have to resort to a service call of some type?

Lots of tvs after some years develop power supply problems, of this type, it may be capacitors drying out in the power supply, they usually swell up and deform a little. Cheap components but not a five mins fix. not for a novice
