I lost power while my printer was printing a document, when I restarted my computer I deleted and reprinted my document, it's been saying Deleting in the printer queue for hours now, and I cannot get it to print anything. I have done everything I can think of including uninstalling and reinstalling the software, it's still doing the same thing, it's connected to the computer because everythign I try to print shows up in the queue, but it will not print.

In this case what i would request u to do is:
1. Let the Printer be Connected to the Computer......
2. Click on start then Click on Run or If Windows Vista Type Services.msc Under the Run Window if XP,Under Start Search if Vista.......
3. On that Services Local Window u need to find Print Spooler just Double Click on that and Click on Stop..........
4. Now let that Window still be Open now click on that start Menu Click on Run If XP........
Type in "Spool" and Click Ok...........
5. Double Click on Printers and Delete Each and Every File Inside the Printers Folder...........
6. Now Close this Window and now u will be back to the Print Spooler Window now u can click on Start under the Print Spooler....
Now Try to Print Will Work Fine....................
Good Luck :)

Dear Ralph
plz check ur printer cable from both end if they are connected properly or not , if the cable connected then uninstall the printer driver and restart the system . After restarting the system then reinstall the printer driver with proper port configuration setting (For USB Cable - Port DOT4 or USB & For Com Cable Port LPT or Com) then after installing restart the system again and when the system start then check by giving print .

Microsoft has the help you need.
It is a common problem but the answer is here
You need to refer to method "D" about half way down the page
Once you clear the print job delete your extra printer installation
Hope that fixes you up
SOURCE: DELETING DOCUMENTS
if you double click on the printer in "printers and faxes" menu you should be able to click on the "printer" menu and click "cancel all documents" if it seems to hang on "deleting" right click on "my computer" and click "manage" expand the "services and applications" menu and click on services. find and single click on the the print spooler service and click "restart service" that should clear the job. If not, power the printer off, reboot your PC and then power the printer back on.

U have to clean the Print Spooler. What is Ur operating system? For example. in Windows 7 U have to: 1. Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Manager. 2. Select Services and Applications > Services. 3. In column Services seek for Printer Spooler and select it with the mouse. 4. Click right mouse button and select Restart. It should solve the problem.
