SOURCE: bosch 5315 dishwasher

You can try tripping circuit breaker OFF, then ON, Can't hurt.
Check manual for reset procedure like hold down Normal wash and Delicate/econo wash at same time and push POWER ON.
Manual for 5300 series may be on line at bosch.com

SOURCE: Bosch SHX46A (6 years old) Selected

From your description, I doubt that the problem is door latch is the cause.
The first thing that a modern dishwasher does before it begins to fill with water is run the drain pump.  It appears that this DW is not progressing to the next cycle (inlet water) and because the pump runs even when the door is open, I agree that the controller card may have failed.
If possible, inspect all the wire connections (remove main power before you do this) ... if there is a loose connection, the controller could do odd things.
Good Luck!  Please report back what you find, OK?

SOURCE: My Bosch SHX46A06UC just runs and runs and wont stop.

The control board is not turning on the water heater due to bad control board, heater or limiting fuse.

SOURCE: Will not fill. Drain pump runs all the time.

Sounds like flood switch has been activated. They have a float in the base of machine, which will activate drain pump if a leak has occurred. Unplug from power- remove right hand side panel, check to see if any water in base. If so, leak has occurred. Clear water from base and test run to locate leak

SHE44 pump keeps trying to empty but there isn't any water

she44-pump-keeps-trying-empty-but-isnt-3dor230cw2fd2t5j4bvk0sa4-4-1.jpg Hello. First, when looking up info on your model, I came across this recall on the SHE44C unit. Check your model number and serial number to verify if your unit falls into the recall range. (fire hazard)
Next, study the schematic diagram for your unit--the drain pump is connected directly to the main board--the fact that it's running even with the door open suggests that the main board might have a stuck relay and will have to be replaced if that is the case. The part number is 444813. The drain motor (see close-up, pic 4, is designated M3) has one side wired to the board, the other side goes through the on/off switch to incoming power, (see pic 3, lower right corner). I hope this helps you!

Bosch dishwasher shx46a06uc-30

the unit will try to complete the last command it was engage in before it went in the overfill safety mode. you must perform a cancel drain cycle to reset unit to default setting. Remember the drain cycle is 2 min and must be completed to reset main control. however if it went into a overfill status you have a leak and it generally comes from the pressure chamber on the lefthand side of unit where the water enters tub

Bosch SHU runs even when the door is open, what do i need?

Hi Jeffrey,

This depends what you mean by "runs". If the dishwasher continues with a wash cycle - i.e. circulating water - with the door open, the simple answer is that you have a defective door microswitch.

However, I suspect what you perceive to be the dishwasher running, is actually the drain pump running continuously. This happens when the anti-flood protection system has been activated and continues even when the door is opened. The simplest way to check is to open the door (while it's "running") and pour some water into the tub. If the water drains away immediately, this shows the drain pump is running and the anti-flood protection has been activated.

This may be due to water having leaked into the base of the dishwasher, but it could be as simple as a stuck or defective float-switch.

Please try the simple test above then post back for further assistance. If you're planning to investigate or repair this yourself, you're going to need a Torx T20 screwdriver and a multi-meter would be useful as well.

My Bosch SHV46C dishwasher keeps running, even when the door is open, unless you turn the control switch off. Then, when you turn the switch on, it starts running again.

I have a Bosch that was stuck in pump down mode even when the door was open.
The problem ended up being too much water in the drip pan below the unit. There is a float in the drip pan that actuates the same limit switch as the internal overfilled float.
I had recently cleaned the incoming water filter and must have loosened the water line tube.

Sprayer arms not spinning

I know this sounds too simple, but on My dishwasher which is an SHX46b model, the plastic supply arm that comes out of the pump and supplies the upper arm popped out of it's correct position at the base. It is held in place by two dinky nibs. I just popped it back in and voila, pressure was back and arms were spinning.

I have bought a new Bosch Fridge freezer and the pump seems to be running a lot, the heat exchanger grill at the back of the freezer is warm while the pump is running indicating its trying to cool down....

Sounds normal to me. The compressor will run quite a bit until it cools the unit down. This could take a few days. The heat from inside the box has to go somewhere. The coils might be quite hot. If the unit maintains proper temperature...all is probably well. If ice cream is soft, then get a service person in.
